Yeah, sure, we all know the show choir at William McKinley High School is filled with nerds. But here's the thing: the popular kids at McKinley are just as messed up, lonely and marginalized as their showbiz lovin' counterparts. When Glee won a Golden Globe award for Best Musical/Comedy of 2009, show creator Ryan Murphy dedicated it to 'everyone who ever got a wedgie in high school', but my essay will prove one of the show's main points is that there's a nerd in all of us. Or in the immortal words of Finn in the show's pilot episode: 'Dontcha get it? We're all losers!'
