bev katz rosenbaum's writing for children and teens workshops

Interested in writing for children or teens?

I am now offering Writing for the Children’s Market classes in Toronto's St. Clair-Bathurst area!

Each session is four weeks long. Classes are held on Thursday evenings, and run from seven to nine p.m.

The cost per session is $100 + HST.

Each of my classes are jam-packed with how-to's for various age ranges and genres, as well as in-class assignments. Light homework is assigned. I also provide loads of information on the business end of the industry, including tips on how to prepare and submit material.

There is a twelve-student cap per session, so sign up now! The next session will take place in November.

If you're interested in my classes, email me at .

Hope to see you!

I attended Bev's course in the spring of 2019. The most important outcome for me was the improved story arc for my protagonist. I had been unsuccessfully wrestling with this problem on my own but with Bev's guidance, and the suggestions of others in the class, the problem was solved. Thank you, Bev!

Bev's Writing for Children class is like the perfect bow on a present--it ties everything together and puts a smile on your face! Bev's approach is personal and supportive. Emerging writers are offered insight, specific feedback, the opportunity to dialogue, and last but not least, homemade cookies!

Bev's Writing for Children course is a highly informative and practical class for new and aspiring writers alike. Her experience as both a writer and an editor is invaluable for the insight she brings not only to the writing process itself but also the business side of getting published. Highly recommended!
